CHS Contracting ("CHS Contracting," "we," "us") is a landscaping and outdoor living contractor serving Charleston, SC. This policy explains what information we collect from customers and website visitors, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect information you provide directly to us when you request an estimate, book service, or contact us: your name, phone number, email address, service address, and details about the work you want done. If you contact us through the website form, by phone, or by text message, we keep a record of that communication so we can follow up on your project.
We use your information to provide our services: preparing estimates, scheduling and confirming appointments, performing and invoicing the work, responding to your questions, and following up after a completed job, including asking how we did and inviting you to leave a review. We do not use your information for anything unrelated to serving you as a customer.
If you provide your mobile number when requesting or booking service, you agree that CHS Contracting may send you text messages about your project: appointment confirmations, scheduling updates, and a review request after the work is complete. Message frequency varies with your service activity. Message and data rates may apply.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We use a messaging platform solely to deliver our own messages to you; it may not use your number for any other purpose.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (for example, our scheduling, invoicing, and messaging platforms), and only so they can perform those services for us. We may also disclose information if required by law.
We keep customer records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal and accounting requirements. We take reasonable measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
You may ask us at any time to update or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing office@chscontracting.com or calling 843-998-2275.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
